I genuinely enjoyed reading The Five People You Meet in Heaven. Mitch Albom decided that he wanted to write about his version of heaven, considering there are so many different beliefs. What I can appreciate the most about his version, though, is the fact that he says the greatest gift God can provide us is explaining, at the end of our life, why everything happened while we were alive. I think that’s very unique. As I continued to read, I noticed how very important it is for people to simply have some things explained considering the fact that in life, we can not take back the past or rewind the hands of time. The main character, Eddie, flows through heaven and enters these five different stages and because of this he learns many things that he never understood before. It is heart warming and an extremely fulfilling read.
